I thought it said the snowflakes ranged from 1-1/2.

Having said that, the poured sugar can become fairly heavy on the much larger molds. So having a smaller mold might be a better option if your design calls for multiple snowflakes.Jacquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09729104169364453251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699017370839705678.post-8969042996055558172010-01-28T10:18:44.279-06:002010-01-28T10:18:44.279-06:00Just FYI, I have the First Impression Molds snowfl...Just FYI, I have the First Impression Molds snowflake mold and it is outstanding but the snowflake cavities are VERY small -- I think the largest one is 1/2 inch across. I don't know how that will affect the final product or not.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02512831749879544957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699017370839705678.post-22634401386543895492010-01-27T16:40:06.675-06:002010-01-27T16:40:06.675-06:00Beyond beautiful!Beyond beautiful!Katy ~https://www.blogger.com/profile/01622340191299379349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699017370839705678.post-79441028979259058672010-01-27T10:20:28.973-06:002010-01-27T10:20:28.973-06:00Wow! I tried to find them online and the closest I found were the ones on the maple candy site.
It looks like those are very detailed towards the bottom, so you might not want to fill the mold to the top, just to the edge of the snowflake design.
If I manage to find the source of the ones I used, I will post it.Jacquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09729104169364453251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699017370839705678.post-54072254317493691292010-01-26T19:48:21.376-06:002010-01-26T19:48:21.376-06:00I get it, that makes sense. I just ordered the ones from the store in the link, but I like the ones you used better -- they are more diverse like real snowflakes. Would you mind sharing where you got them?Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02512831749879544957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699017370839705678.post-41767293547383266612010-01-26T17:06:15.269-06:002010-01-26T17:06:15.269-06:00Thank you Rhonda, Jr and Brandy!

The poured sugar is very hot and I am not sure whether the foam molds would hold up under those temperatures.
